01 Full household removals
The whole house, on a dedicated vehicle.
Surveyed, packed to export standard, loaded and delivered to a Finnish address on dates you have agreed. Furniture taken apart and rebuilt, and the inventory doing double duty as the customs packing list. The fewest handlings of any option.
02 Shared space, for a lower cost and a window.
Your goods travel with other consignments bound the same way. You pay for what you occupy and accept a delivery window instead of a named day. Recommended more often than not on this route — and the trade-off is handling count, not just waiting.

Offices, studios and small operations. Commercial goods do not get transfer-of-residence relief, so the declaration and the cost base are different. Phased delivery, because a forgotten item over this distance is a fortnight.

Built for more road and more handling.
Heavier cartons, moisture protection on upholstery, cases for framed work, crating for stone and glass. It also assumes the load may be opened for inspection, so what is in each carton has to match what the inventory says is in it.
05 Storage in the UK
For the wait between packing and paperwork.
A British sale almost never lines up with Finnish residence documents. Goods are packed, wrapped, inventoried and held here, travelling once the paperwork exists. Usually the least stressful way to run a Finland move.
06 Storage in Finland
For when the apartment is not ready.
Arrangeable at the Finnish end where the timing runs the other way — a load that has arrived before keys are released, or a fit-out still finishing. Better than delivering into an unfinished building.
07 The half that actually decides the timetable.
A household move into Finland is a formal EU import. We prepare the declaration and the packing documentation from the inventory, and tell you plainly which documents only you can obtain — on day one, with the slow ones marked.

Free, and the foundation of everything else.
In person or by video. It fixes the volume, settles the access questions at both ends, and produces the inventory that prices the move, follows the goods into store, and becomes the customs list. Nothing on this route is quoted from a room count.
How a quote is built
Four things: the volume going, the access at both ends, how much of the packing you want
done, and whether it travels on a dedicated vehicle or in shared space. That last one is
the biggest single lever on this route, and the answer usually comes down to how much your
delivery date can move.
What we do not do is give you a transit time in days. The journey involves a sea leg whose
schedule moves for weather and ice, a clearance that is not ours to control, and — on a
shared load — a vehicle that departs when it has a viable load. Your quote gives an
expected window and the things that would change it.
Not sure which applies? Describe the move on the quote form and we
will tell you. Customs covers the documentation and
destinations shows how the Finnish end varies.
